Getting Started

1. Remove the device from its packaging

2. Thread the waist strap through the arms of the device. You can use either pair of arms, personal preference. Make sure the strap runs over the back of the device so that the microphone will be in contact with the skin.

3. Plug the device into a compliant USB-C cable. The device LED will start blinking once per second indicating it is charging

4. Remove the SD card from its packaging and insert it as shown below

5. Once the SD card is inserted, and the device has finished charging (indicated by the LED constant ON), unplug the charger

6. The device will beep, indicating recording has started.

7. The device may be worn in multiple possible locations on the abdomen depending on the specific application. The most common locations is the lower right quadrant as shown below.

8. Charge the device regularly. We recommend once per day, but you should expect more than 2 days of battery life from a single charge. When the device is low on battery, it will enter a low-power mode. The LED will blink twice every 30 seconds in low-power mode.
